With the mobile supervision of Bosch Communication Center, companies such as provider of logistic services, car rentals, rentals of machines used for construction and yacht charters dispose of comforting security. Thus they are able to protect their mobile objects from violation and to limit damage significantly.

The devices are extremely compact and combine GSM with satellite-supported GPS technology. Additional sensors located in the cargo hold and in the vehicle register changes in temperature, vibrations, glass breaking or ignition. Furthermore, the driver’s cab may also be equipped with emergency buttons.

As soon as the driver or a device activates an alarm, the current data and the position of the vehicle or container is transmitted to the employees of the Bosch Monitoring and Emergency Call Centers. Thus the object can quickly be located and the emergency staff can be sent on location.

Furthermore, the use of GPS technology enables to follow the exact route of an object on a digital map (geo-fencing): If the object leaves a determined area (e.g. a certain country), an alarm will be activated automatically. The same applies if a vehicle leaves a pre-defined route.
